My name is Gal,
For a long time I had interest in scientific and technological issues.
I started writing about science as a hobby at August 2002, when the science and technology forum at the Israeli fresh forums site opened. A forum which soon after I became one of it's managers, for a few years.

I write mainly in a blog fashion (And I do have one, in Hebrew, at http://scienceblog.galbarak.co.il), mainly directing to other sources which I find interesting, but also helping answer forum visitors questions. From time to time I try to write some more in-depth stories about specific scientific papers, and general articles about scientific principles (for example, to introduce chaos theory or genetic algorithms). For a certain period of time, I also wrote for the Israeli Ynet news site (for credit only).
I also created (again, not for a fee) an animation for explainig fluorescence and how plasma screens work, which aired at the "microscope" science program on "Teva Hadvarim" channel in Israel.

I have a general B.Sc. from the Tel-Aviv University. But my career is centered around the telecom and/or software business.
